Vintage Woodworks specializes in traditional style wooden windows. Our windows are constructed of solid stock material, made in the traditional method of through mortise and tenon joints. Wood generally used is Douglas fir, although other woods may be specified. We offer true divided lights for multi-pane windows. Solid brass hardware, both new and restored, in a variety of finishes may be chosen. Brass weather stripping and double glazed units are available. A variety of types of glass can be ordered. We also work closely with stained glass companies who can match your existing leaded windows or design a special piece just for you.

Wooden windows made in the proven, traditional fashion which Vintage Woodworks uses are made to last a lifetime. There are similar wooden windows through out the world which were made centuries ago and are still in working order. Proper construction and minimal maintenance will produce a window of the same quality and life span. These are the same style windows manufactured in our shop. We back our windows with our warranty.

With older homes,we strongly believe in retaining original windows where possible. The original windows are the appropriate ones for your home. A complete replacement of your existing wooden windows is seldom necessary. If you have deteriorated window sash, sills,trim or window units, replacements can be made to match the existing styles. Storm windows are also an excellent way to protect your original windows.
